About the Command Palette
The Command Palette allows you to do any major task possible on SourceLair, by using free-text search, without ever leaving your keyboard.
Usage
To open the Command Palette hit the following keys, according to your platform:
- Ctrl + Shift + P, if you are on Windows, Linux or Chromebook
- Cmd + Shift + P, if you are on a Mac
To run a command, just type in the name of the command and press Enter, when it gets highlighted. So if you would like to open a file, all you have to do is open the Command Pallete, type open file
and hit Enter when the Quickopen: Open a file
command gets highlighted.
As you might have seen, the Command Palette will perform case-insensitive search on the available commands, thus you do not have to worry about typing letters in uppercase or lowercase format – any combination will work the same.
